Q. Why do these countries purchase used vehicles?
A. Although the governments of such countries do not purchase these vehicles themselves, they do control the duties that importers pay.  Usually the duty on a new vehicle is 100% or more.  This means that a $15,000 new car would cost $30,000 or more in these countries once the duties are paid. Used vehicles are imported with lower duties. For example, a five-year-old vehicle may be subject to only a 20% duty. Therefore a $8,000 used vehicle would cost the importer $9,600

Q. Don't these countries cheat themselves out of income allowing lower duties ?
A. Not really. Used vehicles normally need repairs.  Importing countries realize that those repairs generate income through higher employment and duties on automotive parts and supplies.

Q. How do I get paid if I sell my vehicle to you?
A. We will send you a cahier's check by an overnight courier (FEDEX, DHL, UPS. etc.)

Q. How long does it take?
A. Usually overnight if we make the purchase before 12pm.
